Seating Information
Rate Field has a seating capacity of 40,615 for baseball and up to 47,754 for concerts. The stadium features three seating levels:
- Lower Level (100s): Field-level reserved seating closest to the action.
- Club Level (300s): Mid-level seating with in-seat service, TV viewing areas, and bar-style concessions. Includes premium options such as CIBC Fan Box, Diamond Suites, and All-Star Suite.
- Upper Level (500s): Elevated reserved seating with panoramic views of the field and Chicago skyline.
We recommend arriving early as gates open 90 minutes before first pitch. All fans must pass through metal detector screening upon entry.
Parking Information
Rate Field offers on-site parking. Pre-paid parking is $25; day-of parking (credit/debit) is $27. Lots open two hours before game time. We recommend purchasing parking in advance as lots sell out.
- Day-of purchases are conducted by staff upon lot entry — do not pay outside the lot.
- Accessible parking is available in Lot B.
The CTA Red Line (Sox/35th St.) and Green Line (35th/Bronzeville/IIT) stop directly at the ballpark. The Metra Rock Island serves 35th St. 'Lou' Jones Station. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) staging is located in Lot A near Wentworth Ave.
